A central goal of the design was for the addition to blend seamlessly with the original house. My guiding principle for alterations is that the new work should feel as though it was always part of the home, while improving the overall visual balance. The hexagonal second-floor extension is complemented by a new front entry canopy and a balcony element off the walk-in closet, creating a harmonious composition across the façade.

The result is an addition that feels architecturally integrated, both inside and out, enhancing the character and spatial quality of the home.
